ABR, Accredited Buyer Representative

ABR denotes a Sales Associate who is qualified to provide buyer representation and is familiar with buyer brokerage and buyer agency issues.  This designation requires additional course work, active membership in REBAC, and at least five documented transactions during the previous 18th month period where the Sales Associate acted as a buyer's representative.

ASP, Accredited Staging Professional

Accredited ASP Stagers are true professionals trained under strict guidelines using proven Staging techniques developed for over 30 years.  ASP Stagers have not only classroom instruction but are actually evaluated on a home they Stage while taking the course.  Typically, Staged homes sell faster and for a higher price.  Staging a home prepares it for buyers and helps draw buyers' eyes to the best features of the room.

CSP, Certified Sales Professional

REALTORS ® earning the CSP designation have developed their skills even further in regard to: negotiating for their clients, building REALTOR ® and client relationships, along with Strategic Planning and Account Management processes.  There is a three hour essay exam in addition to an individual oral exam to earn the CSP designation.

e-PRO ®

The e-PRO ® certification give the REALTOR ® advanced training in the new technologically diverse real estate industry.  The REALTOR ® learns internet marketing strategies, real estate portals, maintenance of a personal technology plan, websites and also learning about consumer demands and expectations in the 21st century.  The e-PRO ® training is presented entirely online with examinations taken after mastery of each topic.

GRI, Graduate REALTOR ® Institute

The GRI symbol is a mark of real estate professional that has made a commitment to providing a superior level of service for their clients.  This REALTOR ® has completed a rigorous educational program that includes 92 hours of live course instruction.  These REALTORS ® have gained extensive knowledge from marketing and servicing listed properties, representing buyers at the highest level to real estate law. 

RSA, REALTOR ® Senior Advisor

The RSA certification consists of specialists knowledgeable in the inner workings of the local senior housing communities as well as contacts with numerous professionals in the senior industry, such as elder care lawyers and transition companies.  This designation is only offered through the Minneapolis Association of Realtors.
